The Abraham's Seeds project is open to all children from the community (sponsored at school or not) as well as some other schools in the general area (some schools have already expressed their interest in this program).

Abraham's Seeds Project would also like to answer the immediate needs of the families by setting up income-generating projects. Poverty can be very extreme in village settings. Most children are ‘brought up’ by grandmothers that are elderly and cannot provide for children anymore. Other ‘families’ consist of brothers and sisters living together, completely on their own, after the death of both parents. In some of these ‘families’ the eldest has not yet reached 14 years of age and needs to continue school too. These families survive on the compassion of neighbors but a lot needs to be done to bring long term solutions to their crisis.

Abraham's Seeds Project also has the desire to answer the immediate needs of the families in the area of health (distribution of medicine, mosquito nets, etc.)

In the area of nutrition Abraham's Seeds Project aims to support the schools in providing an improved daily diet for the children, by supplying milk, eggs, porridge and fruit. Most of these children eat only once a day...

Finally, Abraham's Seeds Project would like to be able to provide regular home visits. This can be possible through the involvement of women from the community who carry a burden for the young generation in their village.
